Commissioned for Jimboomba Central, Rural Sanctuary is a vibrant celebration of local Australian flora and fauna. Stacey Bennett used a soothing, modern colour palette to depict a layered landscape of rolling hills and native eucalyptus.

The mural is intentionally designed to integrate seamlessly with the physical features of the parents’ room; animals are strategically placed to mimic real-life interactions, such as the colourful bird sweeping down to perch on the benchtop. Featuring these playful, site-specific details, the artwork turns a functional community amenity into an immersive, uplifting environment that fosters comfort and connection.
