FRAMING TIPS

• For the long-term protection of your artwork, I recommend choosing a quality frame with UV protective glass.
• Pastels can be smudged, and some clarity lost if the work settles against the glass of the frame.
• Do not use a fixative or it will change the colours of your artwork.
• Talk to your framer about a spacer (you can also buy one online) or doubling the matt may also leave a sufficient gap between the work and the glass.
• If you’re attaching the artwork onto a backing board, choose one that is acid free, or archival quality.
