Stacey is drawn to the vibrant and fleeting nature of street chalk art. She's keen to see more chalk art events and activations in Australia. While the country's street art scene is growing, opportunities for chalk art remain limited. Stacey is passionate about contributing to this dynamic art form and sharing its beauty with a wider audience.
Community Art
Chalk art is an engaging way to involve participants of all ages in creative expression.
It can be an open canvas, allowing participants to freely express their imagination, or guided by Stacey Bennett to provide a structured and inspiring experience.
Public Art
Stacey was successful in showcasing her work at the inaugural Slacks Creek Lighting Projection hosted by Logan City Council in 2023.
In 2024, her art took to the streets of Miami, Gold Coast, as part of the annual Surface Festival.
Consulting
Stacey has worked in the creative industries for over 24 years ranging in community art organisations, peak bodies and local government.
Her strengths include partnership management, governance and strategy planning, grant and event management.
Creative Recovery
Stacey is a proud member of the Logan Creative Resilience and Recovery Group.
She can be deployed to lead creative activities in disaster recovery centres or work with communities to build resilience and aid recovery through art.
